From the first immigrants who arrived with nothing and created institutions that survive to this day, to the communities that refused to let language, culture and identity disappear – Chicago tells the Lithuanian story like no other city in the world. You will walk through Marquette Park, where history was made, visit the Lithuanian Youth Center, enter the Church of the Holy Cross, follow the footsteps of our ancestors in Chicago’s Union Stock Yards, visit the World Lithuanian Center and many other places, where every building, every corner hides a story worth knowing.
